GnotePad

Description: A cross-platform Qt 6 clone of the Windows 10 Notepad experience

The project targets modern C++23 and keeps its functionality portable across Linux, Windows, and macOS. And now, Haiku.

Features

  • Open a text file encoded in almost any way (UTF8, UTF16, ...)
  • Saves your preferences (window size and position, font, line number preference, recent files, tab size, word wrap, line numbers, zoom)
  • Advanced text editor with line numbers, zoom controls, and configurable tab spacing
  • Find & Replace, Go To Line, time/date insertion

Adapted and packaged for Haiku by Michel Clasquin-Johnson. Tested on Haiku R1/beta5 x86_64.
