I use Synkron on 2 machines, an XP desktop and a Windows 7 notebook. I really like Synkrons simplicity, but one problem I've encountered and can find nothing on searches for how to resolve is a 'bloating' of the .synkron folder within a user's profile.
Essentially if there is any large change in files (which there often is for me as I'm synchronising music and film folders for the netbook) then a copy is kept in a dated folder within the .synkron folder within my profile's documents and settings.
This is repeated on every synch and in the case of the netbook has in the past quickly filled the C drive as I hadn't noticed it.
I've got this happening on both machines and on both have de-selected any logging options I can see, I've also looked for other programs that could periodically empty this folder of aged files but because they are within sub folders that isn't straight forward either.
As I've not seen any other comments along these lines my hunch is I'm doing something stupid, has anyone seen this or resolved this or know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks.

The .Synkron folder keeps backups of updated and deleted files. If you dont think you will need the backup, you can turn it off in your sync tab -> Advanced (button in the lower left part) -> Do not backup updated files.
By default Synkron keeps 3 latest versions of each backed up file. You can restore these files and adjust the settings in the Restore section (click Restore in the toolbar). When you check the checkbox "Clean temporary files", you will see options for deleting the files. You can adjust settings for automatic cleaning of the temporary files by checking the checkbox "Clean temporary files automatically after each sync".

Thanks Matus, much appreciated, I've done that and it's working perfectly, I was pretty sure it was just something obvious I was missing.
Great application, many thanks.
