Synex es una distribución GNU/Linux basada en Debian (rama Trixie), desarrollada con la herramienta oficial Debian Live Build. Su objetivo es ofrecer un sistema sólido, estable y simple, pensado para usuarios y empresas que buscan trabajar sin distracciones.
Características principales
- Basado en Debian Trixie, garantizando máxima estabilidad y soporte a largo plazo.
- Disponible en ocho ediciones de escritorio (KDE Plasma, GNOME, XFCE, MATE, COSMIC, LXDE, Openbox, IceWM) y una edición Server.
- Instalación mediante Calamares, con soporte para BIOS y UEFI.
- Synex Package Manager (SPM): gestor gráfico unificado de software para Synex Desktop. Reúne en una sola aplicación las actualizaciones APT y Flatpak (manuales o desatendidas), la gestión de paquetes Debian e instalación de archivos .deb locales con resolución automática de dependencias, la administración de repositorios APT con catálogo guiado de fuentes conocidas, el soporte completo de Flatpak (Flathub) y un indicador de actualizaciones en bandeja. Las operaciones privilegiadas pasan por root-helper y polkit, con simulación previa y backups automáticos. Presente en todas las ediciones de escritorio salvo IceWM.

Synex is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian (Trixie branch), developed with the official Debian Live Build tool. Its goal is to provide a solid, stable, and simple system, designed for users and companies who want to work without distractions.
Main Features
- Based on Debian Trixie, ensuring maximum stability and long-term support.
- Available in eight desktop editions (KDE Plasma, GNOME, XFCE, MATE, COSMIC, LXDE, Openbox, IceWM) and a Server edition.
- Installation via Calamares, with support for both BIOS and UEFI.
- Synex Package Manager (SPM): unified graphical software manager for Synex Desktop. It brings together in a single application APT and Flatpak updates (manual or unattended), Debian package management and local .deb installation with automatic dependency resolution, APT repository administration with a guided catalog of known sources, full Flatpak support (Flathub), and a system tray update indicator. Privileged operations go through a root-helper and polkit, with previous simulation and automatic backups. Available in all desktop editions except IceWM.
