  • Hi, First of all thank yo for writing this nice piece of software. It looks really nice and since the original VG99 editor won't even install on my M4 Mac Mini, it is a blessing. That said, I can't get it to work. When I connect and do the settings the patches show up but I get the next error (also after doubleclickking a patch: Patch data transfer wrong size or data error Please make sure the VG-99 is connected correctly and re-try. I have the Mac version 20250511 of VG99-floorboard installed. The VGG99 has: Firmware: 1.04 checksum 4315 Userdata: checksum 0864 The FC300 and GK2 are connected. I'm using standard MIDI channel 7 with only the MIDI enabled (not USB-MIDI and no loopback). With a MidiView program I can see that data is transmitted (also on the VG99 itself), and since the patchnames appear correctly in the list the MIDI connection is ok. Any idea what might be the problem? Must be something simple I guess. Kind regards, Ruud Mulder
  • Downloaded and after a few configuration issues I have it running in Linux, which, Gumtownbassman, I have to applaud you for. THANK YOU for releasing a Linux version, and that it functions pretty much out of the box is awesome too! The Gumtown Green skin is lovely, btw!
  • First, a big thank you to gumtownbassman! I haven't tested any processor-based editors yet - I have VG-99, so I'll get to that soon - but I'm planning to buy SY-1000. But I opened both editors - and they're beautiful, very legible - it looks surprisingly professional. As soon as I work on VG (after the holidays) - I'll write more specifics. But I'm already glad that after so many years (I've had VG for about 8 years) I've found such a pleasant editor to work with.
  • Saves a lot of time. I like that it comes with some SY-300 and GT-1000 patches to load on the SY-1000.
  • great works here, very very useful, many thanx!!!
