The software, with its intuitive interface and versatile features, provides an excellent platform for creating and visualizing architectural plans. Drawing walls and rooms onto the image of an existing plan, whether it spans one or multiple levels, is a seamless process, enhancing the user's ability to accurately replicate real-life spaces. The drag-and-drop functionality for doors, windows, and furniture from a comprehensive catalog further streamlines the design process, allowing for efficient customization and placement within the plan. A standout feature of the software is its ability to update various elements such as colors, textures, size, and orientation of furniture, walls, floors, and ceilings. This level of detail ensures that users can achieve a high degree of precision and tailor the design to their specific preferences. The simultaneous view of all changes in the 3D view from any angle enhances the user experience, providing a comprehensive and dynamic overview of the evolving design. The capability to create photorealistic images and videos, coupled with a range of light sources, adds a layer of sophistication to the software. This feature allows users to visualize the design in different lighting conditions, offering a realistic preview of how the space will look and feel. Additionally, the software facilitates the importation of additional 3D models, enabling users to incorporate external elements seamlessly into their designs. The flexibility to export plans in various standard formats enhances interoperability and collaboration.

I wish there were more Software like this one in different fields, such as3D Moulding. The Creators are indeed very Innovative. I Love it!

I run a small Linux distro which runs in ram. I searched far and wide to find something I could use to design a new "unique" building for our non-profit. This fit the ticket perfectly. It only took me a day or so to get used to it, and everyone on the forum was incredibly helpful. I have started making models to fit my needs since I am working with hexagons and this program makes it a breeze. I haven't found a problem that has not been answered through a search. I can't thank you enough.

We were building a new home so I searched around for free CAD-type software, and found this one. I did look at a few others and did download one from NCH, but found them either too complex or too limiting .... or too expensive. I only wish that I had found this earlier so that when I submitted my drawings to the draftsman they would have been a little more robust. I've had to do some work arounds for furniture that wasn't available (and I haven't ventured to creating any yet), but generally I've been very impressed with this software ... reasonably simple to use but with lots of features. There are a couple of things that I wish it had, but I understand they have been requested and denied for several reasons. One would be the ability to see dimensions from different perspectives, such as from the inside or outside of a wall so that you can more easily see a space's dimensions. The other is to create walls with starting elevations, much like furniture. (An example would be a buildout above cabinets etc.) While you can work around this by putting a door frame into a wall, it's a bit cludgy as it is harder to visually position it ... but, all-in-all, I'm very impressed.
