SvxLink release 11.11.1 -- 27 Nov 2011

This is the 11.11.1 bugfix release of SvxLink. Two serious bugs have been fixed. One that caused RemoteTrx to crash on disconnect and another that could cause a transmitter to hang in certain setups.

The build system also now handle the Qt dependency a bit better. It will automatically find the correct version of Qt on more distributions.

SvxLink release 11.11 -- 05 nov 2011

This is the 11.11 release of SvxLink. The main release version number is using the Ubuntu-principle with two numbers where the first number is the release year and the second number is the release month. One more number may follow for bugfix releases.

The main focus in this release was to get the Qt stuff (e.g. Qtel) moved from using Qt version 3 to Qt version 4. Note that the Qtel config will be lost when installing the new version.

A number of bugs have been fixed and smaller additions to existing features have been made. Read about it in the ChangeLogs below.

Complete ChangeLog for SvxLink Server version 0.13.1

  • Bugfix in RemoteTrx: Could crash when a Net uplink was disconnected.

Complete ChangeLog for SvxLink Server version 0.13.0

  • Added selective calling system Motorola QC2.

  • Small bugfix in RepeaterLogic: TX down was not always correctly handled on interference shutdown.

  • Bugfix in ModuleEchoLink: The "last disconnected station" variable was updated even if a connection was rejected. This affected the "connect to the last disconnected station" command.

  • New feature: 1750Hz tone call muting. Use the 1750_MUTING configuration variable in a local receiver configuration section to enable this new feature. This feature was contributed by Adi / DL1HRC.

  • FAI alerts is now taken care of in the PropagationMonitor module. Patch from Adi / DL1HRC.

  • Improved handling of SQL_HANGTIME and SQL_DELAY when using CTCSS. Now the ToneDetector itself handle the delays which is much better.

  • Bugfix in RemoteTrx: Groups was not properly setup so remotetrx could not access stuff that it should have right to do. Patch contributed by Eren / TA1AET.

  • TEP and F2 alerts are now taken care of in the PropagationMonitor module. Patch from Adi / DL1HRC.

  • Bugfix in the MUTE_TX_ON_RX feature in RemoteTrx. The PTT would activate even if muted.

Complete ChangeLog for Qtel version 0.12.0

  • Now possible to specify the mic and speaker audio devices separately.

  • Qtel have now been ported to Qt4. One thing you will notice is that the configuration will be lost. Otherwise everything should be pretty much the same.

  • Bugfix: Incoming audio stopped being played back when a new incoming connection was received.

  • Added French translation contributed by Patrick / F1SMF.

Complete ChangeLog for the Async library version 0.18.2

  • Bugfix in Async::AudioDeviceAlsa: There were problems when reopening the audio device in another mode, like when going from WR to RDWR. In some cases the audio output would hang.

Complete ChangeLog for the Async library version 0.18.1

  • Bugfix in Async::AudioDelayLine: Calling "clear" while a "mute" was in effect would cancel the mute.

  • New methods IpAddress::isEmpty() and IpAddress::clear().

  • Bugfix in the OSS code: The audio device would not open when not using stdout as the logging output due to an obscure bug in the OSS code. When not using stdout, the audio device would open with fd 0, which was interpreted as and error.

Complete ChangeLog for the EchoLib library version 0.14.1

  • Bugfix: Stations (links, repeaters, conferences etc) was not sorted properly. Entries could end up in the wrong category.
