  • I challenge myself to use this OS as long as possible before I inevitably screw up a command and say goodbye to everything. Current record: 5 minutes.
  • I have now interviewed 2 people who initially claimed they were "LINUX" experts. Using SLin - I gave them a task to complete in 30 minutes or less. To break in and move a 25MB file from one partition - to another, and to perform a list of tasks (as many as they could before the time ran out). You should have seen the first "interviewee" - he was a wreck and about ran out of the office within 5 minutes. Second "interviewee" did almost every task - on point - and was definitely worthy of a title: Linux Expert. I hired both of them for my "Linux Team" - the latter being the senior addition to the team. This tool allows not just to test the skill level of a person with Linux - but also - how they deal with stress, their honesty and their ability to recover.
  • Instructions unclear. Now I have not only my own files but someone else's.

  • Just a gimmicky idea that is of no practical use. An incredible waste of time that doesn't encourage or teach anything.

  • Is this a ploy to discourage users from ever using the command-line interface? I would encourage all Unity developers to install Suicide-Linux. ;-)
