Dies ist der neu in Java entwickelte Struktogrammer.

Voraussetzung:

• natürlich muss auf dem System Java installiert sein. Empfohlen wird eine Version ab 1.8
• bei Verwendung von openjdk darf nicht nur die 'headless'-Version installiert sein!
• bei HD-Bildschirmen muss eine Java-Version >= 11 verwendet werden. (Java 1.8 kann mit HD-Anzeigen nicht korrekt umgehen. Das Programm wird dann zu klein dargestellt).
• Da in neueren Java-Versionen die interne Struktur zu älteren Versionen nicht mehr kompatibel ist, läuft der Struktogrammer mit Version <= 1.0 nur mit Java-Versionen <= 15. Die neue Struktogrammer Version >= 1.1 läuft auch mit den neusten Java-Versionen.

Installation:

..von Hand

• es braucht im Prinzip keine Installation. Das Programm startet man aus der Konsole z.B. mit 'java -jar husStgr_v09.jar'.
• je nach verwendetem System sollte aber auch einfach ein Doppelklick auf das Programm funktionieren.
• folgende Schritte sind für eine benutzerfreundliche Installation zu empfehlen:
  • neuste Version und Icons in das gewünschte Installationsverzeichnis herunter laden
  • die Applikation husStgr_vxxx.jar nach husStgr.jar umbenennen. Damit werden spätere Aktualisierungen einfacher
  • Starter im Menu mit Programmaufruf java -jar husStgr.jar und entsprechendem Icon erstellen. Dieser kann dann je nach Bedarf auch auf den Desktop und die Kontrollleiste verlinkt werden.
  • Dateiverknüpfung auf die Dateiendungen *.stgr und *.stgp erstellen. Dies ist je nach Betriebssystem unterschiedlich. Meist kann man aber einfach auf eine entsprechende Datei rechtsklicken und öffnen mit.. auswählen. Dann wählt man den erstellten Starter und aktiviert immer mit dieser Anwendung starten aus.

..mit Windows-Installer

• Paket InstallStgr_Windows.zip herunter laden und in einem temporären Ordner entpacken
• die neuste Version des Struktogrammers husStgr_vxxx.jar in das gleiche Verzeichnis wie das Installationsskript herunter laden und nach husStgr.jar umbenennen.
• das Installationsscript installStgr.bat als Administrator ausführen
  • im Programmverzeichnis wird der Ordner husStruktogrammer mit den Programmdateien erstellt
  • die Dateiendungen .stgr und .stgp werden registriert und mit dem Struktogrammer verknüpft
  • das Icon wird den registrierten Dateiendungen zugeordnet
  • im Startmenu wird ein Link hus-Struktogrammer erstellt
• Sie können bei Bedarf den Link aus dem Installationsverzeichnis auch noch auf den Desktop kopieren

..mit Linux-Installer

• Paket InstallStgr_Linux.zip herunter laden und in einem temporären Ordner entpacken
• die neuste Version des Struktogrammers husStgr_vxxx.jar in das gleiche Verzeichnis wie das Installationsskript herunter laden und nach husStgr.jar umbenennen. (Wird der Struktogrammer weder im Verzeichnis des Installationsskriptes noch dessen Unterverzeichnis husStruktogrammer gefunden, so versucht das Installationsskript die neuste Version selbst herunter zu laden!)
• Wenn nicht vorhanden, den Ordner /opt/ im Basisverzeichnis des Systems erstellen. In den meisten Linux-Systemen ist dieser Ordner standardmässig vorhanden, bei Spezialdistributionen kann dieser aber fehlen. Dies muss als root z.B. mit sudo mkdir /opt erledigt werden.
• das Installationsscript installStgr.sh als root ausführen. (Terminal öffnen und in das Verzeichnis des Installationsskriptes wechseln. Dort dann sudo ./installStgr.sh eingeben und mit Passwort bestätigen.)
  • im Verzeichnis /opt/ wird der Ordner husStruktogrammer mit den Programmdateien erstellt
  • die Dateiendungen .stgr und .stgp werden registriert und mit dem Struktogrammer verknüpft
  • das Icon wird den registrierten Dateiendungen zugeordnet
  • im Menu wird ein Starter in Education und Development erstellt
• je nach Distribution kann ein Ab-/Anmelden erforderlich sein, bevor die Dateiendungungen dann mit dem korrekten Icon dargestellt werden. Je nach System wird das Icon aber möglicherweise gar nicht genutzt!
• bei bestimmten Distributionen kann es beim Update der Registrierungen eine Fehlermeldung geben, weil das entsprechende Tool dazu nicht installiert ist. Je nach System ist dies aber möglicherweise gar nicht nötig, weil dies vom System im Hintergrund erledigt wird.
• unter Linux können die Dateiendungen der Struktogrammfiles auch komplett fehlen. Die Files können durch den Inhalt trotzdem erkannt werden.

Einstellungen:

• die Einstellungen des Struktogrammers werden in einem File "settings.prefs" im Verzeichnis ".husStruktogrammer" des Home-Pfades abgelegt.
• ein gleichnamiges File kann auch in den Installationspfad gelegt werden, welches dann zuerst eingelesen wird. Damit lassen sich Default-Einstellungen vornehmen.
• Die Default-Einstellungen werden zusätzlich als Kommentar in das File geschrieben. Durch auskommentieren und ändern der Werte kann man so eigene Vorgaben auch ohne den Dialog einstellen.

noch nicht implementiert:

• ausführliche Hilfe. Momentan ist direkt im Programm nur eine Schnellhilfe als MindMap-Bild vorhanden. Ein Wiki ist aber auf meiner Homepage www.struktogrammer.ch zu finden.

This is the new structogram-application written in Java.

Preconditions:

• of course Java must be installed on the system. Recommended is a version >= 1.8
• when using openjdk, install the hole package not only the 'headless' version!
• for HD screens, a Java version >= 11 must be used. (Java 1.8 cannot handle HD displays correctly. The application will then be displayed too small).
• Since in newer Java versions the internal structure is no longer compatible with older versions, the Struktogrammer with version <= 1.0 only runs with Java versions <= 15. The new Struktogrammer version >= 1.1 also runs with the latest Java versions.

Installation:

..by Hand

• in fact, there is no installation needed. You can start the program from the console e.g. with 'java -jar husStgr_v09.jar'.
• depending on the used system, a simply double-clicking on the program should also work.
• for a user-friendly installation, the following steps are recommended:
  • download the latest version and icons to the desired installation directory
  • rename the application husStgr_vxxx.jar to husStgr.jar. This will make later updates easier
  • Create a starter in the menu with the program call java -jar husStgr.jar and corresponding icon. You can then also create a link to the new starter on the desktop and the control bar as required.
  • create file links to the extensions *.stgr and *.stgp. This varies depending on the operating system. But usually you can simply right-click on a corresponding file and select open with... Then you select the created starter and activate Always start with this application.

..with Windows-Installer

• download package InstallStgr_Windows.zip and unpack it in a temporary folder
• download the latest version of the structogrammer husStgr_vxxx.jar into the same directory as the installation script and rename it to husStgr.jar.
• run the installation script installStgr.bat as administrator.
  • in the program directory the folder husStruktogrammer with the program files is created
  • the file extensions .stgr and .stgp are registered and linked to the structogrammer
  • the icon is assigned to the registered file extensions
  • a link hus-structogrammer is created in the start menu
• If necessary, you can also copy the link from the installation directory to the desktop

..with Linux-Installer

• download package InstallStgr_Linux.zip and unpack it in a temporary folder
• download the latest version of the structogrammer husStgr_vxxx.jar into the same directory as the installation script and rename it to husStgr.jar. (If this file is not found in the directory of the installation script nor its subdirectory husStruktogrammer, the installation script tries to download the latest version itself!)
• If not present, create the /opt/ folder in the base directory of the system. In most Linux systems this folder is present by default, but in special distributions it may be missing. This must be done as root e.g. with sudo mkdir /opt.
• execute the installation script installStgr.sh as root. (Open terminal and change into the directory of the installation script. Then enter sudo ./installStgr.sh and confirm with password).
  • in the directory /opt/ the folder husStruktogrammer with the program files is created
  • the file extensions .stgr and .stgp are registered and linked to the structogrammer
  • the icon is assigned to the registered file extensions
  • in the menu a starter in Education and Development is created
• depending on the distribution, a logout/login may be required before the file extensions are then displayed with the correct icon. Depending on the system its possible, that the icon is not be used at all!
• with certain distributions there can be an error message when updating the registrations because the corresponding tool is not installed. But its possible that your distribution makes this in den background by himself and so the update tool is not necessary.
• under Linux the file extensions of the structogram files is not necessary. The files can still be recognized by the content.

Settings:

• the settings of the structogrammer are stored in a file "settings.prefs " in the directory ".husStruktogrammer " of the home path.
• A file with the same name can also be placed in the installation path and is read in first. This allows to define default settings.
• The default settings are also written as a comment in the file. By commenting out and changing the values, you can set your own preferences without a dialog.

Not yet implemented:

• detailed help. At the moment there is only a quick help as MindMap image directly in the application. But a Wiki can be found on my homepage www.struktogrammer.ch. (at the moment only in german).
