Hey everyone! StoryPad 2.33.0 is now live.
This release is all about video, more backup options, and a smoother, more reliable app. Here's what's new:
- Video Support:

Record, capture, and play video right inside your entries — mix them into photo albums or add them on their own.

Nextcloud Backup:

Back up to your own Nextcloud server, not just Google Drive. Manage and delete assets across whichever cloud service you're connected to.

Bug Fixes & Improvements:
- Faster, flicker-free map pins, plus a manual map provider switch for regions where Google Maps is blocked.
- Cleaner, flatter Templates list with a drag handle; share button moved onto the entry screen.
- New period reminder tile on the calendar (period calendar add-on).
- Faster, more reliable startup in regions where Google/Firebase is blocked.
- Fixed tag reordering getting scrambled by sync.
- Fixed JSON export silently doing nothing on a fresh install.
- Squashed a batch of crash bugs (audio, sharing, avatars, storage bar, and more).
