I tried stm32flash after having nothing but problems with STCubeProgrammer from ST. stm32flash worked out of the box with no problems on my STM32L010 based board. Great job! One feature I would recommend is the ability to search through available serial ports for an STM32 in boot mode. In my case, I just wrapped stm32flash in a script to perform this.
