Yesterday (12/26/11), I was in an unnoficial irc chatroom talking about open
source firmware. I somehow mentioned Stellarium in an embedded planetarium
computers, and they said some really offensive (IKILLTHEMIFITLEAGAL) things
about Stellarium and me. So i decided to make up some rules to stop the
spreading of hatred.
No spamming (i break this one somtimes)
Be supportive (people like complimens)
Don't make false promises (I broke this one, sorry)
Reply for fun (loosen up)
Keep it clean (you know what i mean, you eat with that mouth too)
Just because you are anonymous, others aren't (people are people and they have feelings)
Think twice before hitting POST
Respect Stellarium (Stellarium is and always will be here forever)
Don't disregard (some people ask some stupid questions, but please answer them anyway)

I have no idea what this post is about. Why would you SPAM this list because
someone on some IRC channel said something to you you do not like?
You've been sending an awful lot of stuff to this list that no one cares
about. I do not know who you are and I simply do not care. But I think it's
time you left us alone.

I agree with Tim although I won't be quite so abrupt..
We welcome comment about stellarium in this forum both good and bad. But half
cocked suggestions that take time to analyse, and irrelevant items that don't
give the full picture tend to become annoying and paint the poster as just
another spammer.
Please make sure your posts and suggestions conform to the overall aim of the
project and are tested where necessary.

A long time ago I honestly thought about developing officially for Stellarium.
But I learned something better,
People: Always talk back.
Computers: Never talk back.
So I ask no one to post here and just regard my comments, I won't post here
anymore and just forget about Stellarium.
PS: Who cares? I develop Ubuntu. :P

Stellarium. But I learned something better,
People: Always talk back.
Computers: Never talk back.
People "talking back" should not be a reason to give up immediately anything,
otherwise you will never achieve anything. That said, you should try to
understand why people are annoyed with you and whether you need to modify your
behavior. In this case, please remember that this is the Stellarium Feedback
forum and not your personal blog.
PS: Who cares? I develop Ubuntu. :P
You will find that "developing Ubuntu" also requires interacting with people.
And some of them will also "talk back".

Please stop replying, all though you will probably anyway.
We now have a catch 22 situation. If you post on this forum it is necessary
for a team member to acknowledge it so if you don't want us to say anythhing
please don't post.
This is an open forum of course and anyone can log in, even with a psuedonym
but people who don't disclose even a christian name to address are always
regarded with suspicion.
