StatusR requires lynx to be installed (http://lynx.browser.org/) WHAT'S NEW Version 2.5 - cleaner code - checks the Internet connection first and exits if not connected - easy to spot warnings due to the use of colors - comments in the script describes what each section does so its more understandable - checks Egypt's Power Grid CONTACT If you have any questions or simply want to discuss something, you can reach me via: - email: mohamedation[at]gmail.com - twitter: [at]mohamedation - facebook: /mohamedation I would love to hear from you how you use this script or how you modify it to suit your needs. HOW TO USE StatusR There are many ways you can use the script: - after making it executable (chmod +x) or via gui (right click > Properties > Permissions > allow executing file as program) you can simply run "./statusr" - you can also use "bash statusr" without making it executable. You can also set you system so the script runs on startup (search the exact way to do so in your distro or simply contact me). The best way and the way I use this script is by creating an alias for it and runs it when ever I desire by just envoking the alias (I use the alias statusr). You are free to do whatever you like with this script. I only ask that you tell me something if you do.
