SSVNC adds encryption security to VNC. It provides a GUI for Windows, MacOSX, and Unix that automatically starts up an SSL or SSH tunnel for connections to any VNC server. It also supports VeNCrypt encryption. The Unix viewer has many new features.

Features

  • VeNCrypt and ANONTLS SSL encryption are now supported on all platforms including Windows
  • The SSVNC VeNCrypt bridge enables VeNCrypt and ANONTLS for any third party Viewer.

User Reviews

  • Version 1.0.29 reports viruses in the Windows only version as well as the all versions download. Unfortunately unable to try it as a result and can't give an honest review.
  • It works on my old laptop with WinXP. No troubles.
  • According virustotal 34 / 54. Kaspersky not-a-virus: RemoteAdmin.Win32.NetCat.a.
  • ssvnc worked for me, in Windows accessing X on a Raspberry Pi, where so many other VNC clients failed. Highly recommended!!
