DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES INSTALL THIS ON WINDOWS 10 YOUR PATH VARIABLE WILL BE WIPED That being said, if you did accidentally install it, DO NOT REBOOT and download Process Explorer. Go through the properties of processes until you find one that holds the original PATH variable in its environment and copy/paste it over your current Path variable. To the author of this project, since it comes up in Google search results and is highly malicious to just install. TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY AND TAKE DOWN THE PROJECT

Don't install it on Windows 10 as others have said. Use process explorer from sysinternals to retrieve your deleted path variable as long as you haven't rebooted. Check properties until you find a process with the path environmental variable with the original values and use copy/paste to retrieve the original.

This project is over two years out of date. If you must use Windows, you should really download the version hosted at MLS Software. Google it, URLs are prohibited in reviews. It's up to date and will save you a lot of headaches.

This is a terrible and outdated project, it should be deleted.

It ruins the system path on Windows 7. After install only C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenSSH\bin is in system path.

Windows 8 Pro ... Overwrites your entire system path with only it's own entry on install (user path stays in tact). SSH functionality works just fine though there's not much point--text editors don't work well in powershell.

This is OpenSSH 3.8p1, which is *almost 10 years old*, massively out of date and missing numerous security and encryption enhancements. There are much cleaner ways to run OpenSSH on Windows, such as using the built-in CygWin SSH daemon capability from a recent CygWin. But this out of date code and binary should *definitely* be archived, and no longer published.
