This project is depricated. I'd like to say it's been replaced by spacefm, but (last checked 2014-05-25) the author has abandoned that project. spacefm is still my file manager of choice.

If someone wants to take this project and run with it, contact me.

ssfm - Sy's Simple File Manager - is a continuation of Pixel's original 1999 sfm file manager and application launcher. It's aim is to be feature-full yet minimal, easy to use and fast. It is written in C and is using the GTK+ GUI toolkit.
