"Your Space Adventure!" is a text-based roleplaying game taking place within its own continuity. 

Play as one of five species thus far in your quest to dick around in the galaxy (there is no plot as of yet).



Installation:



There are currently two versions of "Your Space Adventure!", one for moddability and debug purposes and the other for general use (Windows only).



	Installation on Windows:



	Unpack the .zip file to wherever you so choose.

	Create a desktop shortcut to YourSpaceAdventure.py



	Installatin of advanced version:



	"Your Space Adventure!" (source) can currently only run if you have python 2.X installed on your computer.

	Python 2.7.1 can be downloaded at <www.python.org>



	Unpack the .zip file to wherever you please and create a shortcut to YourSpaceAdventure.py.



	If you want to debug, head to the root directory, right-click on "YourSpaceAdventure.py", and hit "Edit with IDLE",

	then go to the run menu and click "Run Module" (or hit the F5 key).



Customization:



"Your Space Adventure!" is designed to add on missions at a whim.

Customized missions are only available in the advanced version.

There are currently no instructions, but if you are versed in Python, you can take a look at the tutorial to see how it's done.



NOTE: The tutorial is undergoing a major rewrite due to it being a piece of crap and the combat method not having been completed at the time of creation.

      Read actions to see how combat and dialogue work.



	Moving your adventure module into the game:



	Save your mission to the DATA folder.

	Add something about your adventure to job_board() in the missions.py module

	add elif mission == "*YOUR MISSION NAME*":

	        import *YourMission*

	to job_board() underneath the start of the if statement.

	pray there are no bugs.



It's a bit hacked together, but I have full confidence in the intelligence and determination of people who play text RPGs.

Many functions need to be copied over from "actions.py", they are noted as such.

ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.



  16. Limitation of Liability.



  IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO IN WRITING

WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MODIFIES AND/OR CONVEYS

THE PROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY

GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE

USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF

DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD

PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS),

EVEN IF SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF

SUCH DAMAGES.



  17. Interpretation of Sections 15 and 16.



  If the disclaimer of warranty and limitation of liability provided

above cannot be given local legal effect according to their terms,

reviewing courts shall apply local law that most closely approximates

an absolute waiver of all civil liability in connection with the

Program, unless a warranty or assumption of liability accompanies a

copy of the Program in return for a fee.
