##################################### SMPI is developed and maintained by # sM10sM20, the project is officially # hosted at: # # http://sms-passing.sourceforge.net/ # ##################################### SMPI Is a message passing interface which uses a google voice account to set up a man in the middle type environment between two cell phones. With this tool it is possible to set up a "fake" conversation between two cell phones, allowing the user to control the exchange of messages in real time. SMPI is an extremely powerful social engineering tool once you get the hang of it. Installation of this tool is simple, just extract the archive to your web directory. PHP5 with curl support is the only requirement. To initiate a conversation browse to control.html Enter your google voice credentials Select your cell phone users names and numbers Type your message in the composition box Click the + button Drag the message to desired cell phone inbox During operation, any SMS messages sent to the google voice account provided at startup will be automatically added to the message queue with the senders phone number attached. Messages can be copied by dragging them into the composition box, or removed by dragging them into the "TRASH CAN" box. Messages in the queue can be dragged into a cell phone inbox, they will be automatically sent. However messages inside the cell phone inbox can only be dragged to the composition box or trash can. To copy a message in the cell phone inbox just drag it to the composition box, generate a new message box, and drag that to the other cell phone inbox. I have tested this tool with FireFox 3.6.10 and the latest stable release of Chrome. Not sure how this will work on Opera, IE is of no consern to me. SMPI uses some elements of HTML5 like web workers, so don't expect this to work with anything too far back. Know issues: After logging into provided google voice account if there are any unread recent SMS in the inbox the first one will be added to the message queue. Just delete it, no more problems after that.
