  • The sidebar could be better, per discuss.kde.org/t/move-menu-icons-to-left-instead-of-top/1714?u=rokejulianlockhart Additionally, I don't see any way to create SMB shares.

Thank you for your comment. With the side bar you are refering to the one in the configuration dialog, right? Changing the orientation of the icons has not been implemented yet, but should be doable. Smb4K is not a program to create SMB shares, but to access remote ones.
  • Easiest way to mount shares I could find. No root privileges requiered, easy way to mount and umount on login and logout. Shared folders available through Dolphin and other GUI programs and throgh konsole too which allow you to run commands as find.
  • Reliable over many years!
  • Prefect app to mount smb shares in kde (perhaps other DE too...). Exactly what I needed. Before I used some scripts and CLI to mount the shares! Thanks for giving us this good pice of software. Gianluca
  • This program makes very loud sounds on errors (seriously, it got me scared and cause ear pain). I cannot find an option to turn sound off. Cannot find initial basic instructions on how to use it.
