SmartRoot v4.2

1st of December 2014

• RSML is the native read/write format. More info about RSML.
• Fixed issue with CSV export (last file was truncated)

SmartRoot v4.1

11th of April 2014

• added batch export function in the Data Transfers tab. Users are now allowed to make a single export with all the files contained in a single folder.

• Improved lateral tracing algorithm

• added root ontologies

• cleaned the export functions and made them easier to understand

• drag and drop function in the Root List view

12th of November 2012

• A bug appeared with the previous version when the datafile (xml) was created. The bug is fixed in this version.

• In this version, we added a function to import multiple data files to a single image (contextual menu in the image)

• We changed the rootKey system from a simple number to an unique identifier (for greater consistency)

• In this version, we fixed a bug occuring with the insertion point calculation.

25th of April 2012

• In this version, we fixed a bug occuring with the insertion angle calculation when the root was too short (less than three nodes).

• In this version, we fixed bugs with the naming functions (naming prefix not working in all the situations).

• We added a button to set a DPI value as the default value for the next images (assuming they were never opened with SmartRoot).

• We added a new Mark type (Number) mainly for tip tracking images.

8th of March 2012

• In this version, we added an export function for time lapse root drawing of plant grown in rhizotron. The new function exports the root growth rates over the growing period.

14th of November 2011

• In this version, we fixed a bug occuring when deleting a mark in the "Root List" pane of the SmartRoot window.

SmartRoot v3.321

17th of October 2011

• In this version, we fixed a small display error while the image. When the image was selected in the "Root List" panel, the mean angle value was displayed in radians. It is now displayed in degrees.

21rst of September 2011

• In this version, we fixed a bug occuring when a traced image was re-open, causing the lateral roots to be not recognize as so. Saving and openning image should now work without any problems
