User Reviews

  • It will be a great learning tool and more when all the bugs are out of the software. Refer to my post in the FORUM, any comments/help would be appreciated. I have the 480x320 board (SmartGPU2) The PC interface program is buggy and sometimes works, except for reading the SD card.
  • I downloaded and installed "SmartGPU2 PC Interface R1" from the larger (480x320) LCD product page. I got it working just fine, it's quite nice. If you intend to successfully load .BMP picture files into this PC interface software, I only got it to work when two conditions were met. 1). When the .BMP pictures themselves are inside the software source folder.....for me, this was at: C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartGPU 2 PC Interface. A complete file path that worked for me: C:\Program Files (x86)\SmartGPU 2 PC Interface\New Folder\airplane.bmp. NOT: C:\My Documents\Whevever. The other condition is that I typed the .BMP picture filename into the software WITHOUT the .BMP extension. NOTE, the software does not seem to fully support the newer (larger) 480x320LCD. When a 480x320 .BMP file is loaded, the viewer at top left only displays 320x240 worth of pixels. Good software though, very useful. I hope the hardware is just as good... haven't tried it yet.
