This is basically Salix, but based on the "current" Slackware repositories, which means it provides more recent versions of kernel and packages (essentially a "rolling release"). In short: Can be easily installed on a hard disk, or "persistent" on a USB stick for portability (this is different than a "live CD"), or you can just use the live CD/USB for testing. Provides package dependency maintenance, full multimedia features, and extra packages in Slackel repositories. Friendly developer who will answer any questions you may have in a matter of a few hours at most. All in all, a very nice distribution.
