  • I like this chess)))
  • Good tool!!! Ready to use and clean interface!! Written by Java Lover!! Bye
  • The graphical interface looks good and there is a set of different skins, it is intuitive. The author invested more than 3 years to make fans of computer chess happy without any incentives (money). I really appreciate this commitment! My wish would be the best line and other search infos to be visualised in frames as well as if there is a way to organize engine tournaments, like in ChessGUI or Arena chess. Regards, Bagatur Chess

  • A good and clearly arranged graphical interface for playing matches human vs. engine . After download the application and extracting the .zip-file with a tool like 7-zip just select the folder > SJCE > bin > SJCE jar-file > click on "new" and the SJCE interface is opened. You can adjust user levels, time settings and have the choice between currently 15 chess engines including their configurations. You do not need special knowledges about implementation of external engines or compiling source codes - just plug and play. Available for different operation systems because of Java - JRE (Oracle website)
