A Site Search engine script that uses MySQL to store your website's indexed pages, to add Search Functionality to Your Web Site. It is build with PHP and JavaScript, the search results are loaded via Ajax. The search system combine MySQL full text with SQL regexp, and words weight according to their location in the HTML elements, to determine the relevance of the search results. It can be included in any web site.

- Crawl and index web site pages automatically (can follow redirects).
- Options to control indexed URLs: by link's Depth, by Maximum number of URLs to crawl, by URL Must-Include, or Must-Exclude "strings".
- Crawl and index the links in the XML Sitemap.

The other persons reviewing this software are cryin about ads and code being hidden. Your a dud. You need not use said programs or be on a computer. I know its a review from 2014 but you are still a DUD. I have used this software for years. It works great if you know how to read and code. If you dont then dont use it. Romainia programers are AWESOME!!!

Pros: This is the easiest website search engine to install and maintain (v1.5) . Two of the best things I like is that (1) support is free on their website and the programmers will really try to help sort things out; (2) user is not required to post backlinks or footers. SSEP represents the TRUE meaning of **free software**. Cons: For a non-Php programmer like me I'm having difficulty to customize the search page to my template. Yeah I know I should learn Php.

It doesn't really matter that the coder, MarPlo, is from Romania, and that he makes mistakes in grammar and spelling. ....... What REALLY matters to us. end users, is that the guy doesn't seem to care about his own reputation. ....... His main interest seems to be the shameless, repetitive and excessive advertising. Because, not less than 41 times in his files he reminds us that he's trying to sell to us his personal services as a teacher and a coder. ....... However, why should we buy anything from a guy whose code DOES NOTHING FOR US, END USERS? ....... On the positive side, there is a demo on his web site that, as of 10/28/2014,.seems to be working. ....... However, on the negative side, judging from the visible portion of his web site, it is working only because the code on HIS OWN web site, and the code that he released to us, end users, are DIFFERENT, and not even close! ....... Also on the negative side, the vast majority of the code on his own web site is HIDDEN from us. I wonder what it is that he is trying to hide. As of 10/28/14, if you want to view the code that he actually uses in his working demo, YOU GET NOTHING but his negativity, in combination with his excessive advertising. He gives you ZERO HELP as to where we should search for the code that works. ....... Example: One of his many-many hidden pages immediately takes us to a "document not found" page that reads: "(HIS WEB SITE'S URL) - Page Not Found. The page for the requested address not found on (the SAME WEB SITE URL), (FOLLOWED BY A LONG-LONG ADVERTISING MESSAGE that ends with HIS WEB SITE'S URL. The same URL the 42nd, 43rd. and 44th time! ....... What a spammer! How boring! How useless! And what a monumental time waster! That guy has wasted four HOURS of my life!
