This is the TSI distribution of the Sigma database. The Sigma Database is used to manage a control projects. It has been used successfully on major engineering projects around the world. Key management components include: -Documents -Correspondence -Requirements -Defects -Any other data set relevant to the project With the data assembled and organized on one place Sigma is then able to automatically track project status and automate workflows to individuals. Sigma can connect all the data elements which ensure that changes in status of one element is reflected in all related elements. Sigma is written for the Filemaker Server platform. Users can access via Filemaker WebDirect or via the Filemaker Pro Client. Sigma can run in stand alone mode on Filemaker Pro 16 or higher but some functions may not work fully and would need to be modified. It is therefore highly recommended that Filemaker Server be used. For further information on functions and how to implement Sigma-TSI visit the home page at: http://sigma-tsi.net/TSI_Demo/DB_Launch_Site/Sigma_TSI_Project.html The TSI Repo contains documentation suitable for developers and administrators. The demonstration system accessible at the web site is a fully functional implementation of Sigma and its companion database the DTMS. A User Help database is also available via the demo system. The download .zip file contains everything you need to get Sigma-TSI up and running. It is a replica of the demo system complete with sample data. Files included are: Sigma.fmp12 DTMS1.fmp12 DTMS2.fmp12 DBXref.fmp12 Refer to the "Configuring up a new Sigmanet" document in the TSI repo for set up information. NOTE: Sigma sends alerts to users via email. The email server parameters need to be entered before this will work. So until the email settings are configured you may get email error messages for various actions. The email settings are configured in the admin area under database parameters.
