ShriOS Files

ShriOS is an arch linux based operating system.
It vanilla arch linux with cinnamon desktop.
It just very close to default arch linux plus
cinnamon without much modification.
But ShriOS is not arch linux or associated
with the arch linux neither endorsed by arch linux.
ShriOS offers 11 Desktops + 4 Wm and Freedom to choose
any arch linux kernel, with lot of software.

Shrios comes with ZRAM enable upto 2 times of actual
physical RAM, which can be disabled with a click.
ShriOS uses kernel capability to load ntfs partitions,
ntfs-3g is no more available by default
however you are free to install it.
Chaotic repository enabled by default.
Additional software like Google chrome can be
installed with chaotic repo through pacman/pamac.
Supports legacy bios boot and efi boot.

It comes with 3 install modes
 1) Offline: Exactly same as live environment
 
 2) Online Easy Mode: Lets you choose everything yourelf

    nvidia-utils, nvidia-xrun, optimus-manager, optimus-manager-qt
 E) Print support: cups, cups-pdf, cups-filters, hplips, splix, ghost-script,
    system-config-printer, system-gtk3-backends, foomatic-db, foomatic-db-engine,
    foomatic-db-ppds, foomatic-db-nonfree, foomatic-db-nonfree-ppd,
    foomatic-db-guttenprint-ppds, guttenprint

Difference between Shri install modes:
Offline just installs what you see. It offers no options to select.
Online Easy Mode: It takes care of essentials and let you select everything
in a way that ensuress it will succeed in installing the system as per your
selections and prefrences.
Online Advance Mode: It is all upto you. Incorrect choices will break installation
or will present incomplete desktop environment. Such as you may endup selecting
intel ucode while you have AMD cpu, this will prevent system from booting.
Or you may choose lightdm with plasma desktop, which will not let you login to your desktop.
Both online mode need working internet connection.

* You can install google chrome with chaotic repo through pamac.
* You can also install virtualbox without any hassles.

User names and Password:
Although you do not need but ShriOS live system credentials:
 Username: live
 Password: live
 Root password: root
To get root access without entering Password:
On terminal enter sudo su,
Or in file browser right click and choose open as root.

 Right now it is under TEST phase.
 ShriOS is 3 months old baby.
