A great piece of software; it would be nice if the options in the right-click menu could be customized in order.

More than anything is a consultation. Can you make a version with a Dark theme? My eyes would be very grateful ... greetings

I like ipavlov, and his 7-zip.

Great software. I use it on Linux Mint 21.??. Thank you! My ClamAV or Clamtk still alerts me that something in 7-zip might be suspicious, though. BUT I checked, (in the Clamtk app), what was reported by groups like microsoft, etc., They all showed that ClamAV gave a false alarm about 7 zip. So, I need to fine tune ClamAV/Clamtk.

Absolutely awesome! I searched for hours for software under Windows to read files contained in a ".qcow2" until I discovered that 7Z knew how to do that perfectly!

Так что, старые фотографии всё-таки не потеряли. Спасибо! Миллион раз. Fantastic! Downloaded a large archive from Onedrive, which of course couldn't be opened. So many people have had this annoying problem. But using 7h from the command line opened up everything! So, didn't lose old photos after all. Thank you! A million times.

We would have given 7-ZIP 5 stars, except that it sets the Windows archive bit even on archive files whose content hasn’t changed. This is a huge design flaw, in our opinion, and causes our daily Web site updates to transfer an extraneous 9 GB of unchanged files each year. We have requested multiple times that this be fixed.

I love 7zip & have used for years now. I love the file commander layout in particular. The only feature I would like to see added is a dark mode or theme options as my eyes are sensitive to brightness.

better gzip compression than gnu gzip, better lzma2 compression than xz (program from ubuntu repos)
