OK I have replaced the current defaulted linux kernels with the linux zen kernels for gaming performance 
and added a few other tools to make the gaming experience a little smoother. 

Also the floating menu search also searches ddg duckduckgo and opens results in the default browser.

Check out GenesisOS guys test it out let me know what you think.

for those who have nvidia in the terminal type eco_nvidia to launch a nvidia installer its a test project so use at your own risk.

I have been working on GenesisOS for a good part of the night into the morning I have added a Floating menu that appears to the right of the scren top right. 

This has some shortcuts with some of EcoOS utilities and also some links to steam and lutris and as well as 
discord for those who have it also these are some of the early steps in preparing the iso to be more gamer centric.

Uploading version (v2a) to SF for you guys to try I added a Floating Menu I call the Eco FLoating Menu it can be triggered and made to be startup also the launcher is in the Eco Utilities menu selection with the other selectors on the right of the top right panel. 

This Floating Menu will also go inside the Genesis Iso later on as launcher for your games or programs or utilities.  
you may also right click the individual launchers in the menu and modify them or delete them.

Also added a videos menu option so If you have videos you have recorded you can launch it with mpv of your favorite recordings from games and shows and such.

I am adding a new Iso to the mix this is more of a stability iso check this will eventually be a gaming edition I just thoughtId share it with you gius Its fully stable and Installable.

Today I repurposed a eco package manager menu and turned it into the eco utilities menu as this is whats changed in v2 in the hyper9 panel on the right side menu dropdown.
Eco Recorder and Planner are there as well as the Package Manager.

Updated the iso and added a a new package manager to as well and also accomodated the launcher to show flathub applications as well,
I will be putting out a video on my channel which I will showcase here.

Updates:

Added a new program called the Eco_Planner and a video will follow on how to add it as a launcher in the panel
another video willshow you how to use it fairly simple though.

Also made the calendar under the time a little bigger for those with sight issues.

I added a new program that substitues the  is an alternative to the system monitor.

Its Called the Eco System Monitor located to the right of the drop down menu.

New Iso was uploaded: added our own repos for aur files to be installed
Added Onlyoffice from the aur and added as an appimage rustdesk.

12/2/25 Updated naming from fm10 to eco_fm and term5 to eco_term,
Also did some fixes to the cpoy paste between eco_fm to thunar also 
testted Iso looks good.

Update 11/30/25 

Updated the Eco Terminal to have its split buttons and close buttons on the header bar, also updated it to be
able to close most program if ran by the termina with the shortcut Ctrl + C which I have tested and now works.

Updated the terminal to show more icons on the headerbar for splitting and closing split windows.
Updated Iso as well.

Update 11/30/2025

Updated Fm10 File Manager to pick up appimages and 
load them once made executable. also rebuilding iso 
with new change. - 11/28/25

New Changes to hyper panel with the weather module instead
of using wettr service now we use meteo weather service for 
a more accurate weather information.
