Survival Dimensionality Reduction Files

Welcome to the Survival Dimensionality Reduction (SDR) project page!

Please click the "Files" sub-menu to find the packages to download and 
	choose what you need. In the "Files" submenu you'll find the 
	following executable installers and files:

-SDR_v2.0a_Installer
-RecentFiles.txt
-Survival_Epistatic_Dataset_Generator_Tool_Installer
-Competitive_Epistatic_Dataset_Generator_Tool_Installer


The SDR program or the Tools to build survival epistatic models (either
simple or in a competitive risk setting) will be installed on your 
computer in the program folder.
Shortcuts should be created on the desktop with a link to the main 
programs; double-click on the shortcuts to launch the programs.
If the shortcut icons are not created to run the program look for the 
executables in the newly created folders and double click them.

The sReliefF program was previously developed as a stand alone program
that is no longer available. If you are interested in sReliefF just
install the SDR_v2.0a program and run sReliefF from there.


                        ***** IMPORTANT NOTICE *****

During SDR installation a necessary file is not copied into the
Survival Dimensionality Reduction.
This file, named "RecentFiles.txt" has to be separately downloaded
from the Sourceforge site (here) and copied into the 
folder that the installer creates into the Program Files directory.


			***** ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION *****

Shall you experience any problem with the SDR installer you may
decide to download the SDR_V2.0a.zip folder, unpack it and run the
program double-clicking the SDR.exe file.
