Added
- While the S (Size) pop-up is open, the brush ring stays on the model at the point where it was opened and shows the size being set, live while dragging and before Enter while typing a number (#138). O (Falloff) draws the inner Falloff ring the same way. The ring lies under the pop-up so its number stays readable.
- Simplified Chinese interface (Preferences > Interface > Language): the Traditional Chinese translation by yoyomaimai (#114) in simplified characters, reviewed for mainland usage (鼠标, 软件, 文件, 视图, 菜单, 设置, 工具栏, 默认 and 预设, 撤销, rows and columns), every label covered. Brush and tool names stay in English. The characters come from a small built-in Noto Sans SC subset (SIL OFL), so nothing needs installing. zh-CN, zh-SG and zh-Hans codes select it; zh-TW, zh-HK and zh-MO keep Traditional.
Changed
- Help > Connect an AI tool is the in-app guide to live mode: 1. pick your tool (Claude Code, Claude Desktop,
Cursor, or any other in the list) with the exact command or settings for this install, now for the live-mode server
(
sculptforge-cli --mcp --attach, listed assculptforge-livebeside a headlesssculptforgeentry); 2. the live-mode switch; 3. what happens next; four example prompts with Copy. The plan notes moved to a Plans and sign-in tooltip; the headless server and the Claude Desktop bundle are in the user guide. - The live-mode dialogs (Let an AI tool control this window?, Allow this AI step?) look like the app's other dialogs: one text width, two buttons of one width (the answer first), no close box (Deny or Escape), the code in a large font instead of a scaled-up small one. While the approval is open the Connect window steps aside, so two dialogs never stack; after Approve it closes and the badge takes over.
- Show SculptForge on Discord shows the new SF icon.
Fixed
- Show SculptForge on Discord stays up to date. Changes made in quick succession (opening files, typing the challenge) used to be dropped by Discord after the fifth in 20 seconds. Now the latest always arrives. After Discord restarts, your status is back within seconds instead of a minute.
- Discord no longer shows SculptForge while it isn't running. Runs by scripts and test tools (benchmarks, offscreen checks) never show it, whatever the preferences say. On Linux, a process SculptForge starts (an AI worker) can no longer keep the connection, and the status, open after SculptForge quits.
--measure-idlereported about 100 % of one core on Windows while the app sat idle: it timed itself with the C library's clock, which on Windows counts wall time, not processor time. It now reads the process's real CPU time on every OS. Measured from outside on Windows (RTX 3060), idle 0.11.1 and 0.11.2 (a sphere open) use 0.00 % of a core, and Linux uses 0.7 %: there was no busy loop. The idle tests now also fail if the app uses more than 2 % of a core over 30 s.- The Paint menu jittered on a short screen (reported at 1280x720 fullscreen, thanks ebarranco): taller than the space under the menu bar, it scrolled, its colour picker shrank under the scrollbar, the menu stopped scrolling and grew again, every frame. A menu that scrolls now widens by its scrollbar instead.
