I downloaded this off Github and read the instructions there. When downloaded and running the exe file, it might pop up some errors. The application is hidden in the system tray. Right click, go to settings. Issues will be in red, where you need to download sources/translation sites and so on. It started working great after setting up!

I have tried Screen Translator (v. 3.2.1 - x64) from this site but it doesn't work, after unpacking the archive, when i run the executable, Windows 10 Notification panel says the app was running, but there was no application running like you expect to see, no G.U.I. nothing! I don't know how this works?! Same for version 3.3.0 - x64 when clicking the executable nothing happens?! Can anyone with succes with this help me out please? Also does this only translate from English > Russian? Because i want a Screen Translator that can translate from English > Dutch.

After running a bunch of errors. After capturing again, the error . Is it a bug show program? Qtranslate is better by a lot

It does the job perfectly. And when questioning about setup doubts, I got quick and correct answers.

It just stopped working for a while. I thought it was good but alas it brought me more frustration and depressions than it did happiness. the words were clearly there and I did everything it says to do, but it just finds want to show me anything

Le programme est légèrement compliqué à régler, mais une fois que c'est fait il fonctionne très bien. Très pratique, merci beaucoup. Ceux qui notent négativement ne prennent simplement pas le temps de comprendre comment le régler au début. The software is a bit complicated to setup, but once its done, it works very well. Very convenient, thank you. Those who rate negatively just dont take the time to understand how to do the setup.

Clunky interface but once you have it set up it works perfect.

Thank for the update, the ui is better than previous update and seem like a bit faster to translate too. Didnt expect that the app could translate diagonal text, very useful for playing asia games :v

Dosnt work for s***, Confusing settings, cant properly translate anything .

The approach to translation I am looking for. All fine. Currently you use Google translate. I hope on a builtin engine in a future.

It does exactly what it says on the tin. Press a shortcut, select a screen region, and after some wait you get a translation. As easy as that. Installation went without issues in Windows 10. I use it to translate English to Russian. The OCR makes small mistakes now and then but that's to be expected from a free tool. Sometimes translator services are able to fix those mistakes completely. Other times you get somewhat cryptic translation but usually you can figure it out. I even tried it in a fullscreen 3D game and it worked like a charm. Highly recommended. Screen Translator делает в точности то, что обещает. Нажмите горячую клавишу, выделите участок экрана, и после небольшого ожидания получите перевод. Проще некуда. Установка в Windows 10 прошла без проблем. Я использую переводчик, чтобы переводить с английского на русский. Распознавание текста иногда делает небольшие ошибки, но это ожидаемо для бесплатного приложения. Иногда онлайн-переводчики могут полностью исправить эти ошибки. В других случаях перевод получается корявым, но обычно можно понять, о чём была речь. Я даже пробовал переводить в полноэкранной 3D-игрушке, переводчик отработал на отлично. Всячески рекомендую.
