SCRAM Download Manager
Release Adonis - 0.1.0.688 (28/08/2011)
Copyright (C) 2010 William Hughes, Jonathan Love, et al

== INTRODUCTION ==
SCRAM is a Windows based Download Manager, designed to run
as a service; it was designed so that you could have the download
manager on one computer, and be able to queue downloads from other computers
on the same network, or even remotely via the Internet!

== CONTENTS ==
- Introduction
- Contents
- System Requirements
- Installation (For Windows)

== SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ==
- .NET Framework 4.0 on Windows
- Free hard drive space for your downloads

== INSTALLATION ==
- Download the latest release for your platform from <http://sourceforge.net/projects/scramdownloader/>
- Run the installer and follow the prompts
- After installation, a configuration wizard will walk you through setting up the service
- If all went to plan*, you should now be able to redirect your browser to http://localhost:80.
- Jump to Getting Started!

* If all did not go to plan, follow these instructions:
- Chances are there is a web server occupying port 80 on your computer.
  Skype is also known to do horrific things and take this port.
- The easiest way to fix the problem is to close these programs down,
  restart SCRAM, login to the web interface, then change the settings
  so that it listens on a different port.
- If you still can't get it working, visit <http://sourceforge.net/projects/scramdownloader/support>

== INSTALLATION (FOR LINUX/MAC OSX) ==
- We currently don't offer a release version of the Mono builds, as they aren't fully tested.
- You can download a zip file containing binary versions of the Windows version, and run it with Mono 2.10 or newer
- Any feedback is appreciated
- If you would like to help maintain a Linux or Mac OSX version of SCRAM, please contact the developers

== GETTING STARTED ==
- Login to the web interface from the local computer by going to http://localhost:80 from your browser
- By default, you don't need to log in. You can create user accounts from the settings menu
- Start by adding a new queue
- Click on the queue and add some downloads
- Click Start/Stop to Start the queue!
- Congratulations, you're now downloading with SCRAM

== KNOWN BUGS ==
- If a 'SCRAM.config' file is present in the program directory, the program may behave unexpectedly. Please delete this file
- Old security configuration files may cause problems, delete 'security.config' if you see 'Inc: 303 See Other' errors
