Welcome to Shane's Chess Information Database! A powerful and user-friendly chess database software that allows you to store, organize, and analyze your chess games. With scid, you can: - import and export games in a variety of formats, including PGN, EPD, and FEN - view and edit games using an easy-to-use interface - analyze games with chess engines - solve chess puzzles and tactics These packages have been automatically created with Azure Pipelines: https://dev.azure.com/beninifulvio/beninifulvio/_build?definitionId=1&_a=summary Installation is not required, just unzip the right package (for example, tar xvzf scid_linux.tar.gz), and launch the scid executable (scid_linux/scid/scid). We also offer an extra package that you can download to enhance your scid experience. These resources include player photos, databases of tactics, and more. To install these extras, simply extract it into the directory where the scid executable is.
