*************** Description ***************
SATOI is a simple program for merging the SMS exported from an Android phone to an iPhone.
I developed SATOI in my spare time and it is in no way user-friendly or complete.

Expect bugs and disappointment.

*************** Prerequisites ***************
- .Net Framework 3.5 installed
- Windows Vista/7/8 x64
- An "sms.xml" file exported from SMS Backup & Restore (available for free on Google Play)
- The sms.db file from the iPhone (likely requires jailbreak, Google is your friend :) )

*************** Limits ***************
- No x86 version is available
- Tested ONLY with iOs 6.1.x (the sms.db format changes between iOs versions, so it likely won't work on any other version)
- There's a problem with service/operators messages, they are likely to not work, get deleted or imported incorrectly.

*************** Instructions ***************
1. Download SMS Backup & Restore from Google Play to your Android device and backup all your SMS to the SD card.
2. Extract the "sms.db" fiel from the iPhone (i did it with Jailbreaking and iFile, but i heard it can be recovered from the iTunes backup. Again, google is your friend)
3. Put both files in a folder on the PC.
4. Start SATOI, select the iPhone DB and Android XML files.
5. Click "load", the output file ("sms_modified.db") will be created or overwritten.
6. Click "Merge", the merging of the messages will begin.
7. Rename the "sms-modified.db" to "sms.db" and put it in the iPhone overwriting the previous one. I suggest you also delete the "*.db-shm" and "*.db-wal" files.
8. Reboot the iPhone, start the SMS app.
