Maybe there were times when you wished you had an ABAP functionality of a graphic canvas in your good old dynpro screens.
This is my implementation of an ABAP class that offers it!
It will allow any regular dynpro program (ie, non-webdynpro neither Fiori) to offer a graphic canvas in a predefined area on any screen, where you can set and reset 8- or 24-bit colored pixels, allowing the ABAPer to draw any graphics he/she might want, and even images and also to respond to clicks and double-clicks on that canvas, as well as drag-and-drop events and the like.
This implementation is based on the BMP format.
All information I got to be able to develop these classes and programs came from Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMP_file_format.
Please feel free to explore the classes and programs sources contained in NUGG file to learn how everything was done.
If you have any doubts or need any help, feel free to email me at lino2112@gmail.com.
Enjoy!
Cheers!
