### Added - **The format badge can now be a coloured mark instead of plain letters.** Reading three small letters is slower than seeing a colour, so the badge is now a small tinted file mark with the format written inside it, and the tint says what KIND of file it is: images, camera RAW, ebooks, documents, audio, video and archives each get their own. Ticking "Show format badge on thumbnails" gets you the coloured version; untick "Use a coloured icon badge" next to it for the old plain text chip. - **A checkerboard behind transparent thumbnails**, if you want one. Explorer normally shows the folder background through a see-through PNG, which is correct but can make a mostly-transparent logo hard to see. The new switch on the General page paints the familiar light checkerboard behind it instead. Off by default, and separate from the preview windows' own checkerboard, because they are genuinely different surfaces. - **A switch to stop Windows drawing its own file-type icon on top of your thumbnails** (Settings βΈ File types). Windows stamps the associated program's icon into the bottom-right corner of a thumbnail, exactly where the format badge goes, and when that program has been uninstalled it draws a blank page instead. This asks Windows not to draw it for the file types SageThumbs handles. Reversible: unticking puts it back. - **`st2k doctor` now asks the shell for the thumbnail itself**, instead of only proving our own decoder works. Those two answers can disagree, and when they do the disagreement IS the diagnosis. It also names the folder's cloud-sync provider when the file lives in one, and calls out file types whose leftover associations are stamping an icon over the badge. ### Changed - **The playback bar's icons are now the system's own icon set.** The previous/next, play/pause, speaker, repeat and arrow buttons were drawn by hand and looked it, especially next to the title bar's buttons. They now come from the same Windows icon font as everything else, so the two rows finally look like one family. Muting also swaps the speaker for the proper crossed-out glyph.Verified installer

Portable (no installer)
Extract and run. Nothing is installed, nothing goes in the registry, no admin needed.
Settings live in SageThumbs2K.ini next to the exe.
It gives you the app and the command line tool: settings, convert and resize, quick preview, screenshots, OCR, the colour picker and the folder tools. It does not give you Explorer thumbnails or the right-click menu, because Windows only loads a shell extension whose COM class is registered. Install the normal build for those.
