  • This plugin works exactly as advertised .. thank you very much .. and "never mind the Italian." Couple things to note ... (a) The parameters, at both the Eclipse Preferences level and at the per-project level, "are simply 'rsync' command-line options." I haven't figured out how to add more lines to the eclipse-level prompt (pressing 'enter' is interpreted as clicking the "OK" button to dismiss the dialog). But the eclipse-level and project-level options are simply merged. The "-e" rsync option, in my case, was very useful. (b) Yes, it would be nice to have I18N someday .. to this English speaker, "rsync sincronizza" and "rsync simula" are 'a bit odd,' but, you know, it works. :-) When you do run a sync (or what have you), the "console" view in Eclipse contains the full details of what happened. Bottom line .. this is a very useful plugin, it definitely "does the job" exactly as promised, it unquestionably fills an urgent need that I had, and I am very grateful to have it. "Thank you, best regards, and Well Done."
