  • Awesome, awesome solution! I'm working with 3-10 gigabyte log files from processor simulations booting an OS and all the text editors I had tried on Ubuntu at best were very troublesome. Most tried to load the entire thing into memory, I had one that seemed a bit better but couldn't quite handle that size. I didn't get fluid with the command line tools. Rowscope blew me away. I can easily pull up a certain class of report and see them conglomerated together and then expand the contents of the file around an interesting line. I'm sure I could do the same thing if I was a grep wizard, but I'm not. Productivity is up an order of magnitude. Awesome.
