The kmod-roccat package contains the kernel modules needed to control the first Kone with the userspace tools. These modules are also part of the Linux kernel. Depending on your kernel version and build you might already have the needed kernel modules. Look here for more information: http://roccat.sourceforge.net/general.html#supported_hardware However this package always contains the newest module versions for older kernels from 2.6.28 upwards with backported functionality or bugfixes from newer kernels.
