GPIO support, Xin-Mo Arcade module support
Keyboard and keyboard encoder support (like IPAC, Kade http://kadevice.com/ or pikeydx32 http://atmjoy.com/pikeyd-pi-gpio-keyboard-daemon-i2c-mcp3017/ with pikeyd daemon). Keys are the same for all emulators and are based on the Mame default keymapping.

Looks beautiful and judging by what others are saying, THIS is the Retropie and PiPlay alternative to get. LOVED how them menus look in the video, cannot wait to try this out.

This is probably the simplest way to turn your raspberry pi in a retro gaming machine. The Manual goes into great detail on how to configure various game pad configurations. Also love that it works with GPIO right out of the box (as long as you wire it to diagram inside the manual). I have tried a few other options out there and this is by far the best Excellent Job.
