love this project. made me understand how asterisk + freepbx can be useful at home. i have two hardware sip phones but until today i was only using accounts from sip provider - this adds so many features.. trunks, voicemail, conferences, call recording, wake up calls, IVR .. thank you for maintaining RasPBX - it's perfect for beginners to get their hands dirty with home PBX solution.

I have used a series of small Astirisk switches to run my home and small business VOIP telephone system for years. I tried RasPBX on an old Model B (not plus) Pi and loved it. It was a bit challenging to find the instructions to operate a USB dongle, but when found, that worked flawlessly, too. That Pi is on its way to Africa to be a testing unit for a large PBX switching sytem I am working on there. I will be buying another Pi to replace the Dell desktop Asterisk switch in my home office soon.
