Radegast

Lightweight client for connecting to Second Life and OpenSim based virtual worlds.

Radegast is feature rich GUI client. With it's full support for all communication within a virtual world (chat, IM, group IM, friends conference) it's ideal for situations where full 3D client is less than ideal solution, for example, an office environment, too slow a machine and similar.

It's written using libopenmetaverse, and it runs on any platform that supports .NET/mono. Its being actively tested on Windows and Linux.

Radegast 1.28

May 18, 2011

This release brings support for better rendering of individual inword objects and HUDs (from list of objects select “3D View”). You can interact with inword objects and HUDs by clicking on them, or choosing sit from the right click context menu. To quickly see list of your own attachments and HUDs select “My Attachments” option from the “Tools” menu.

In addition to that, 1.28 brings ability to upload images, mute individuals, objects or whole groups. UI now supports audible notification for events such us opening new IM sessions, money balance changes, etc. For the full list of changes see the release notes below.

Radegast 1.26

This release brings support to alpha and tattoo clothing layers. In addition to that, support for display names and single username login has been added. We recommend setting Display Names to smart mode by going to File -> Preferences -> General, and under Display Names select option "Smart".

Radegast now improves accessibility on windows by correctly supporting themes, including high contrast ones often used by people with less that perfect eyesight.
