R-udp-player

The R-udp-player is a fluidsynth player created as a microtonal playback app for Ircams Open Music, version 6.10 or later.

Some settings need to be done in Open Music for this to work: In the midi settings of Open Music, choose 'osc-scoreplayer' as the default scoreplayer and check the option 'force score player'.

R-udp-player is available as Max 8 patches and standalone apps. On others systems you will have to use the included max patches. Make sure you install the 64-bit fluidsynth object in the folder 'dependencies'. You can then save a standalone app for your own system.

Use terminal:
xattr -cr [drag in the file]

Do not move the app or patch out of the folder, otherwise it won't find the necessary files.

By default, there are 20 instruments playing 1/16-tones. It's easy to add more instruments editing the Max patch.
