QUIMUP is a client for the music player daemon (MPD) written in C++ and QT6.
New version 2.1.0 fixes some problems and adds two new features: 1. Album art size can be set (within limits). 2. User actions to run commands or scripts on files or directories.

I used a prior version ALL THE TIME and was thrilled to see an update. However, it's refusing to connect to a remote instance of MPD (and I don't see a place to put this elsewhere). I can't figure out where else to debug this -- bind_address is to the IP address of the server, password, is correct. It looks like it's successfully connecting and then throwing an error in the code? Same error with deb package and with tarball. Error on "starting status_check", connection is NULL Reconnecting... Error on "starting status_check", connection is NULL Reconnecting... MPD does not respond. Retrying 10 more times at 2 sec intervals Reconnecting... Connecting: try 1 Connected to MPD 0.23 / remote Password accepted MPD's music dir is remote MPD: connection closed Reconnecting...
