It's an open source software but the binary requires licensing. That's a sneaky cunning.

As other reviewers said, the application is no longer open-source and if you want to use it, you have to pay for it (except for the limited demo version). Which is fine, if that's what you want, but for the rest of us LabPlot may be a better choice.

This is demo software and should be removed from this platform.

Not usable! This is a demo version with limited itme and usuage. At least an old full version must be uploaded. This demo version needs to be removed from SourceForge.

If this software is no longer freeware or in Public domain remove it from here. Sourceforge hosts only free to use software and tools.

There are other plotting softwares for macOS, usually they are very expensive. Qtiplot is an amazing software with an affordable price. Although SciDavis is free software, Qtiplot is much better maintained, and has less bug. By far, it works perfectly. It is a good alternative for Origin for macOS users. I would like to pay ~20 bucks for supporting the developers to further improve this amazing software. I hope the price for the future versions should still be affordable too. Keep going! How about Qtiplot for iPadOS? More and more people use ipad pro in school, if Qtiplot will be available for ipados, it’ll be fantastic!

www.gnu(dot)org/philosophy/free-sw.html . The four essential freedoms . A program is free software if the program's users have the four essential freedoms: [1] . The freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose (freedom 0). The freedom to study how the program works, and change it so it does your computing as you wish (freedom 1). Access to the source code is a precondition for this. The freedom to redistribute copies so you can help others (freedom 2). The freedom to distribute copies of your modified versions to others (freedom 3). By doing this you can give the whole community a chance to benefit from your changes. Access to the source code is a precondition for this.Reply from QtiPlot
