This was to be Q version 34 until Issue [#2] appeared. In version 34, all macro files with suffices other than .qm were renamed to have a .qm suffix (.qm == Q macro). Most files with names ending macs are left as before, so most .qrc files outside of the Q tree should continue to work without modification. The following files are renamed:
old name | new name |
---|---|
adamacs | ada.qm |
brktmacs.ada | ada_brkts.qm |
scmacs.c | c.qm |
brktmacs.c | c_brkts.qm |
scmacs.f | fndtn.qm |
gitmacs | git.qm |
scmacs.pl | perl.qm |
pymacs | py.qm |
brktmacs.python | py_brkts.qm |
scmacs.tcl | tcl.qm |
scmacs.w | word.qm |
In fndtn.qm, ^N8 now outputs the current date / time, as formatted by N4010. (Formerly, ^N8 outputted a fixed-width 80-character ruler: ^N7 now outputs a ruler which always fits the screen width exactly). In fndtn.qm, n206 (^N^W^F) (grep a string in the current file) can be nade to pipe the output to some other command by redefining n1405. In word.qm, updated ^N^A to use the ALU, instead of the ^NY "tab subtraction" pseudomacro. ^NY is slated for retirement now. In word.qm, moved the ^W macro out of the way (it was overwriting at least the global replace macro suite ^N^W{p,q,r}). The ^W macro is likely obsolete anyway, but I haven't had time to verify that. General code cleanups: more booleans, less gotos
