PYRIAD v.a.d.X.c.e.kd --------------------- WHAT IS THIS Pyriad is a text-based RPG written in C++. It aims to add a creative aspect to the table as well as providing grindy details that most rpgs tend to have. (Quests may be added as well.) It is about someone who sets about to solve the Hamati conflict and overbear the evil - or good - of the land. It appends the story of two bards and a captain who set about to cure an evil that shadowed the land for centuries. --------------------- WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR Download the pyriad.zip in the bin folder. Unpack that where you want on your computer and run proj.exe . --------------------- X ISN'T WORKING!??! Keep in mind that Pyriad is not a finished project - a lot of content will be missing before beta, even stuff that it mentions in the game. However, if you think you found a bug that was not intentional or is game-breaking, we would be happy to know about it. There's quite a bit of content creation in a project like this - originally the game was going to be 20x20 x 20x20. After a quiet realization, I promptly changed it to 4x4 x 4x4. However, the game code is pretty modular - as long as we have the content to deliver, the game could be as big as anyone could ever want. --------------------- HOW CAN I SUPPORT Sacrifice the amount you want to donate on top of a large rock in the nearest forest. Take that ash and throw it into the ocean. (Any body of water that will eventually flow into the ocean should work too.) If in the next month a cat or other stray animal does not fall dead on your doorstep, try again. We really appreciate it.
