Hello,
I've tried on ubuntu 9.10, and nothing seems to be working.
I've downloaded the src archive, unzipped it in my home and ran `python keylogger.pyw -d`
no buggy output appeared but nothing is logged in the logfile, even after one hour.
The "COntrolL;ControlR;F12" did not show any interface. I changed the ini file to use only F10, for test purpose but nothing changed.
As I read from the usage instruction I tried to modify xorg.conf, but on this particular version, there is none!
Any idea?
thanks in advance.

Hi
The xserver bug that plagued jaunty is still present in kamric. Though there has been some progress in fixing it, so the bugfix probably will make it into Ubuntu 10.04.
yes that's the core upstream bug - it's also linked to in that forum post i linked above. :)
as far as patching it manually before ubuntu 10.04 comes out - could be possible, if you are up for compiling your own xorg. but have to wait for a working code patch to be available first.

ok, thanks… I googled a bit by myself and found a discussion where you are involved:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20500
Do you believe that we'll be able to patch xserver manually before 10.4?
Sorry for the duplicate post, my fault! I searched after posting… sorry
