PROS is awesome. I use it in all my vex programming projects.

This is a great piece of software. Heretofore, I have been using easyC for my competition robot. Even with the easyC text editor, there are still many limitations on what you can and cannot do. PROS offers more freedom and a more intelligent design for a robot programming interface. However, I did have some trouble finding sufficient documentation for a few of PROS's features, but everything was simple enough to figure out with minimal effort. I will be using PROS for all of my robots henceforth.
