These are self-contained archives with portable version of Psi+. They include: * basic version of Psi+ * webkit version of Psi+ * all official Psi+ plugins * all neccessary libraries * all available translations (even unfinished) * main Psi+ resources (iconsets, sounds, skins, themes, etc.) * recent spell-checking dictionaries from LibreOffice project You may just unpack 7z file and launch the program. psi-plus-portable-X.Y.Z_win7_x86_64.7z -- for 64-bit MS Windows 7 and newer psi-plus-portable-X.Y.Z_win7_x86.7z -- for 32-bit MS Windows 7 and newer psi-plus-portable-X.Y.Z_winxp.7z -- for 32-bit MS Windows XP and Vista If you do not like portable version of Psi+ and you insist on using global Psi+ profile, then just rename Psi+ executable file: * from psi-plus-portable.exe to psi-plus.exe * from psi-plus-webkit-portable.exe to psi-plus-webkit.exe Webkit version of Psi+ has few additional features (in comparing with basic version of Psi+): support of animated emoticons, support of (adium) themes in private chats and group chats, support of previewing of images and videos in private chats and group chats, etc.. But if you prefer old fashioned plain text chats from era of IRC heyday, then basic version of Psi+ is your obvious choice.
