Setup:
1. open "ProDlgView.bat" file in text editor and change the path of Pro/E installation.
2. copy this file to "SendTo" folder (Type "sendto" in "Run" window, it will open the "SendTo" folder.
3. Copy "prores.xml" file in "APIs" folder to <<NotePad++ Installation>>\plugins\APIs.
4. Open Notepad++ (Close all files automatically opened with it) and open "User-Defined Dialogue..."
5. Click "Import" button and select "ProRes.xml" (outside file).
6. Now Open any .res file and select "PRORES" option from "Language" menu.
7. press "F5" OR "Run.." from "Run" menu.
8. Type "<<Name with full path of 'ProDlgView.bat'>>" "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"
("C:\Documents and Settings\Abhay\SendTo\ProDlgView.bat" "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)")
9. press "Save..." button.
10. provide any name (mostly "PRORES") and any unassigned key (Mostly Alt-Q).
Now you are set. Close all files and restart the notepad++.
Create your .res files. it will highlight the syntax. also suggest you the keywords.
Press Alt-Q to preview the resource.
The "ProDlgView.bat" is kept in "sendto", so you can call the viewer from explorer also.
